Stocks on My Watch List
Poof!
Out of nowhere you get a buy or sell recommendation from me.
You may be asking yourself where did I come up with this recommendation? Why now? How and where did I even find this company? What basket of stocks am I watching now?
Well, thanks for asking.
Every ACTIVE pick in the PeakStocks.com portfolio has been deeply thought-out, researched and offered a compelling risk/reward scenario at the time it was added.
In other words, it was a company worth putting REAL money into right when I recommended it. Because I am so confident of these views, every time I make a real-time recommendation, I am purchasing that stock at the exact same time.
So in order to create more transparency on the site and let you in on my thinking, I have decided to post my watch list for everyone to see.
Some Things To Keep In Mind
Now I want to relay a few points about the stocks on my watch list that you should always keep in mind:
- Not official recommendations: The stocks on my watch list are NOT official recommendations, and have NOT been added to the PeakStocks.com portfolio. Do not buy or sell these stocks unless/until they are officially recommended by me, otherwise you could be courting disaster.
- No particular order: The companies on my watch list are ranked in NO particular order. Don’t assume that companies at the top of the list are more likely to be added to the official PeakStocks.com portfolio, because they are not. I simply add names to the list that intrigue me at various times for various reasons.
- Who are these companies?: These stocks have been added to my watch list for any number of reasons including:
- I like what the company does, and want to learn more about them and dig into whether or not they are a good investment.
- I already know all about the company, what they do, their valuation, and whether or not they are a good investment, but right now, there just isn’t a compelling risk/reward scenario for me to put capital to work in this stock. I am waiting for a better price.
- I know nothing about the company but liked the valuation. Sometimes I find companies that offer an intriguing investment scenario or risk/reward, but I don’t know enough about the company, what they do, their industry, sector, or why they are trading so cheaply, to recommend them. I need to do more homework.
- This is not an exhaustive list: The companies that I will post on the watch list are not every single company that I track, but a more condensed list of the companies that I am most interested in at the moment for further research, study or patience and am most likely to recommend at a moment’s notice.
- Your thoughts: I am always open to new stock ideas, or companies that someone may have done some research on and think I should take a look at. If you have any burning ideas that you think are stand-out, please go ahead and post a comment, or shoot me off an email.
Final Thoughts
Please Remember: The peakstocks.com watch list is for informational purposes only, and is not a recommendation to purchase shares in any company on the list. Most of the companies on this list will NEVER become official recommendations.
I merely wanted a place where I could post the names of stocks that I was watching to improve the transparency on the website, and also to give you a heads-up so when I finally do make a formal recommendation from a stock on the list, it isn’t a total surprise.

What does the .OB abbreviation stand for on that one stock, UWKI.OB?

The .OB signifies that it is an “over-the-counter/Bulletin Board” stock.
In other words, lightly traded and highly volatile, tread with caution.

iRobot (IRBT) —
Check them out. They are bringing the robot into the home, something that has long been theorized but never executed well. Like most new markets, it takes a killer app, and the “Roomba” is that app. I recently bought one and love it. They have the potential to be the AAPL of robotics, and a runaway hit like the Roomba can vault them to the place they need to be to do that.
Also, they have a nice balance of consumer and military robotics, which bode well in times of consumer flux, as those military contracts are fairly steady. The stock just broke through it’s 50-day Moving-Avg. after news it won a key injunction against a knock-off company.
Look for the Roomba to be a huge seller this holiday season. Costco has been moving them like crazy according to the store in Los Angeles
(Los Feliz area) that I went to.
Take a look. Could be the next great growth story in the next few years.
